"This scoop is the best for ice cream (and we’ve tried many). Its sharp(ish) nose cuts through even hard ice cream, but unlike a knife it won’t go on through the carton and into your hand. (Don’t ask me how I know this). And unlike a knife there’s just the right size scoop to catch what you cut off. Ben and Jerry’s recommends using a sharp implement rather than a blunt scoop in order to avoid forming ice crystals which then degrade the ice cream. BUT my most wonderful discovery was how well it works at cutting out seeds from fresh pumpkins and squash. It’s almost as if it were designed for that. Perfect size and angle."

Rada recommends hand washing all fine cutlery and utensils. Hand washing eliminates the harsh environment created by a dishwasher’s high temperatures and abrasive detergents that will negatively affect its handle, and ultimately extends the life of the product.
While Rada’s black handle knives and utensils are more dishwasher tolerant than the silver handles, hand washing is still recommended.

You just think you've used a good ice cream scoop...
I've wrestled with a bunch of different ice cream scoops over the years, trying to dig hard ice cream out before it softens. This one actually works. This is the KING of scoops. I'll never need another one.

NEVER DISAPPOINTED!!
I have never been disappointed with any RADA products! I bought the ICE CREAM SCOOP for my husband who eats ice cream on a daily basis! He was always bending my spoons and seem to always overlook the traditional ice cream scoop! No more bent spoons and his RADA ICE CREAM SCOOP can spoon up a man-sized dish of ice cream!!
