BLADE
To assure our customers get the best knives available, all Rada blades are crafted from surgical-quality, T420 high-carbon stainless steel for a lifetime of durability then hollow ground for incredible sharpness.
HANDLE
This knife has two handle options. The silver handle is made from permanently cast brushed aluminum and has a satin finish. The black handle is constructed from stainless steel resin. Both fit beautifully into any kitchen décor.

Rada recommends hand washing all fine cutlery. Hand washing prevents microscopic dings on a knife blade’s cutting edge, eliminates the harsh environment created by a dishwasher’s high temperatures and abrasive detergents that will negatively affect its handle, and ultimately extends the life of the knife.
While Rada’s black handle knives and utensils are more dishwasher tolerant than the silver handles, hand washing is still recommended.

Excellent Bread Knive
Great quality and cuts my homemade bread perfectly. Smaller size and light weight makes this knife very easy to use. I can cut with it much easier than the longer, heavier bread knife I had been using. Love the Rada knives, they have been my preferred choice for many years and this 6" Bread Knife is definitely one of my favorites.

Too Short for Me
I've been using this knife for my bread for the past few years, but it isn't quite long enough to cut the loaves I make in my 5in. (w) x 9 in. (l) bread dishes. The standard bread pans, according to Google, are 9x5 and 8.5x4.5. It makes more sense to me, then, to buy a longer knife that cuts both sizes of loaf than this shorter one which can't.
