To assure our customers get the best knives available, all Rada blades are crafted from surgical-quality, T420 high-carbon stainless steel for a lifetime of durability then hollow ground for incredible sharpness. Designed with frequent use in mind, non-serrated, hollow-ground blades can be easily re-sharpened to achieve a like-new blade again and again. For easy at-home sharpening, check out Rada’s Quick Edge Knife Sharpener. All pieces in this set except the Cheese Knife and Serrated Slicer can be sharpened.
This set has two handle options. The silver handle is made from permanently cast brushed aluminum and has a satin finish. The black handle is constructed from stainless steel resin. Both are incredibly durable and fit beautifully into any kitchen décor.
Rada’s Cheese Knife is a unique and innovative tool that easily cuts through and helps serve any type of cheese. The ridge gently separates cheese slices, while the forked end pierces the slices for convenient serving. Great for cutting sausage too, making your next meat & cheese tray a cinch to pull together.
The Granny Paring is a useful little knife with a specially designed reverse-curved shape that cuts and slices in any direction and is especially well suited to small foods or detailed work that needs a bit of finesse.
The Heavy Duty Paring features a 3¼" blade with a slightly longer handle than the Regular Paring Knife. It offers superior leverage with more control for larger foods like cucumbers and potatoes and is also perfect for trimming chicken breasts.
Rada’s Utility/Steak Knife features a 4⅞" non-serrated blade, providing smooth cutting action. Use it at the kitchen counter for meal prep and on your dinner table for cutting through that perfect piece of meat.
Feast your eyes on our Cook's Utility! Called utility because it can tackle so many different kitchen chores, this knife handles like a paring knife but with the versatility of a larger one. It’s the ideal size at 8⅝" overall with a 4¾" blade.
The Stubby Butcher Knife is proud of its physique. Its 5⅜" blade is large enough for big cutting jobs, but small enough for maximum control. It’ll cut ribs, slice through fresh pineapple, and glide through that wedding cake like magic.
The Serrated Slicer has a wide, sharp edge designed to handle tough foods, making it the ultimate tool for cutting larger vegetables and fruits. Our slicers are available in two styles (serrated and non-serrated) assuring you have exactly what you need in your kitchen.
"I have always struggled with trying to find sharp knives, everyone promises that their knives are the best! So I saw Rada knives advertised so I read the reviews. All reviews were 5 star. There were a lot of people stating they have had their knives for 50 years and the quality still stands. So I figured I would give Rada knives a try! I could not be happier! These knives are the BEST knives I've ever owned!! They are very sturdy and very sharp! I would definitely recommend these knives to everyone!"

A dull knife is a dangerous knife! Keep your blades sharp. When Rada’s high-quality non-serrated blades need sharpening, there’s no need for a professional knife-sharpening service. You can do it yourself in a matter of seconds with the modest but oh-so incredibly effective Quick Edge Knife Sharpener.
Rada recommends hand washing all fine cutlery. Hand washing prevents microscopic dings on a knife blade’s cutting edge, eliminates the harsh environment created by a dishwasher’s high temperatures and abrasive detergents that will negatively affect its handle, and ultimately extends the life of the knife.
While Rada’s black handle knives and utensils are more dishwasher tolerant than the silver handles, hand washing is still recommended.
It boils down to this: When knives last a lifetime like Rada Cutlery knives do, you want them to remain in tip-top condition so you can enjoy them for a lifetime.
Since 1948, Rada Cutlery has been crafting knives that stand the test of time. The hand-sharpened, razor-sharp edge of the surgical-quality, T420 high-carbon stainless steel blade ensures that durability reaches our customers...for a lifetime of use.
Every one of our products is handcrafted in the heart of the USA, with materials only from America. Our strong heritage and Midwest values assure dependability you can believe in and sharp good looks you’ll be proud to have in your home.
Outstanding knives. Exceptional value. That’s the Rada way.
They are superb! Very sharp and easy to handle!
One word. Love!!
Wanted a nice starter set to give as gift and these were a perfect fit
Silver. Our silver permanently cast solid brushed aluminum handles with a satin finish were the “originals,” dating back to post-WWII (1948), when manufacturing of non-war-related products began in earnest
Black. Our black handles are made from stainless steel resin and were introduced in 2007 to offer more choices to our customers. This handle is also more tolerant of dishwashers.
Anthem Wave. In 2019, another black handle was introduced. Called Anthem Wave, it has an ergonomic grip and is slightly longer and larger than our other handles, great for people who prefer a bigger handle.
The best way to care for all fine cutlery is to hand wash and then dry immediately. Hand washing eliminates the harsh environment created by a dishwasher’s high temperatures and abrasive detergents, prevents microscopic dings on the blades’ cutting edge, and helps protect your knives from corrosion, ultimately extending the life of their finish. Caring for your knives properly assures they’ll remain sharp and in great condition for a lifetime of use
Every Rada Cutlery product is 100% American made, from raw materials through construction. Always have been; always will be.
Our knives are crafted with surgical-quality high-carbon stainless steel and hand sharpened, giving every Rada knife a razor-sharp edge.
All non-serrated Rada knives can be easily resharpened when needed, to achieve a like-new blade again and again.
Every product manufactured by Rada Mfg. Co. is GUARANTEED FOR LIFE from defects in material or workmanship. Our craftsmanship is topnotch, meaning you’ll probably never need this guarantee, but if you do, we’ll be here for you to honor our promise.
Our products last. Families often pass their knives from generation to generation. The low price you’ll pay for that kind of quality is remarkable!
Hooray! All Rada knives (as well as the Quick Edge Knife Sharpener) and utensils can be used by either right- or left-handed users equally well. Our Cheese Knife has special features designed to work its best when held in the right hand. However, customers have told us they use the knife with their left hand without issue.
Every serrated Rada knife and “cutting utensil” is made using the BEST type of serration for its intended purpose. Non-serrated blades are hollow ground on both sides for ultimate cutting and slicing.
Simply grip the sharpener’s durable nylon base at the end furthest from the wheels with one hand and pull a knife blade between the wheels of the sharpener at a slight upward angle using the other hand; repeat four to six times. This works equally well whether you hold the sharpener with your left hand (logo is facing you for “righties”) or with your right hand (logo is facing away from you for “lefties”). Now, carefully wipe off the blade to remove any metal shavings and you’re done!
The secret is in the Quick Edge Knife Sharpener’s dual steel wheels, which intersect to sharpen both sides of a knife blade at the same time. The specially hardened, high-carbon stainless wheels ensure that blades reach their sharpest point with only a few passes
