The Rada Ham Slicer Knife is certain to be one of the best, most used tools in your kitchen.

This versatile knife features a 9 ½-inch blade, the longest we make at Rada Mfg. Co. The blade easily slices through larger meats such as hams, loins, and roasts. But the long blade, which is constructed of surgical-quality steel and hand-sharpened for a razor edge, has uses far beyond simply slicing your favorite meats. It also comes in handy with large foods such as cakes, melons, and more! Many users readily proclaim it the best slicer knife they have ever used.

Care Instructions
(Hand Wash VS Dishwasher)

Hand washing all fine cutlery is the preferred method of cleaning because:

  1. Hand washing prevents unnecessary microscopic dings on the blades' cutting edge.
  2. Recent government mandated changes to phosphate-free dish washing detergents creates a harsh environment for metals - including stainless steel blades and in particular our silver brushed aluminum handles.
  3. Dishwashers have evolved to higher temperatures for cleansing and drying that are incompatible with fine cutlery.

Some customers choose to use the dishwasher with varying results depending on their detergent, water mineral composition and dishwasher. The combination of these factors affect the pace and degree of oxidation experienced.
